Overall responsibility:
Responsible for the Warehouse function, ensuring all Warehouse procedures, activities and day to day operations including Health and Safety, adhere to best practices. Responsible for the day-to-day direction and management of Warehouse employees, accountable for team performance. A hands-on motivated leader who can train and inspire, driving and ensuring smooth and efficient
processes, identifying areas for improvement, in accordance with company policies and customer requirements. Ensuring high standards of Health and Safety, Quality, delivery, team morale, cost
control and environmental responsibility. This is a Senior role and as such the job holder is required to actively participate in required activities such as our PEP review and to contribute towards key goals of the Company including our main goal of achieving profitable growth.
Key tasks include:
- Provide day-to-day leadership for the Warehouse, planning and executing daily activities to ensure efficient warehouse operations.
- Lead, motivate and develop the Warehouse team to maintain high levels of proficiency and performance.
- To foster a respectful, positive and productive work environment.
- Ensure relevant training programmes are in place to ensure workplace safety, team skills, knowledge, and development in warehouse operations and safety procedures.
- Oversee the efficient receipt, storage, picking, packing, and despatch of goods and inventory control.
- Maintain clear, up-to-date inventory records for all stock.
- Work closely with Customer Service and Purchasing for inventory levels and shipments.
- Implement and maintain effective warehouse procedures, ensuring all warehouse procedures and settings comply with best practices and standards.
- Ensure strict adherence to all Health and Safety regulations and requirements, ensuring a strong safety culture.
- Monitor and report on relevant Warehousing KPI’s, ensuring a culture of continuous improvement.

- Ability to motivate and develop a team in a fast-paced environment.
- An excellent attitude towards providing consistently high levels of customer service to both internal and external customers.
- A flexible approach to the demands and needs of our customers and the business in general.
- Good level of IT knowledge, including standard Microsoft Office packages and ERP type software/warehouse management software.
- Good literacy and numeracy skills.
- An excellent awareness of Quality issues and adherence to the company’s quality policy.
- An understanding of HVAC/construction industry is advantageous but not essential.
- Relevant warehouse qualifications – counterbalance Forklift and Reach Truck License(s).
