Lochinvar products have been providing energy efficient hot water and heating solutions for many commercial and industrial applications in the UK since 1976. In recent years our product offering has been expanded to include a range of integrated renewable solutions such as solar and heat pump technology based products.

Our products are known for their reliability, efficiency and cost effectiveness. Although our sales concentrates in the UK and Ireland we work closely with our European Headquarters in the Netherlands and US-based parent company.

We are looking for an exceptional Key Account Manager to represent Lochinvar in the UK

Overall Responsibility:

 

Responsible for Lochinvar Key Accounts, driving specified sales growth via current and new routes to market, working in conjunction with the General Manager to ensure that the company sales plan is achieved. This a national based territory where frequent and extensive travel will be required. There may be occasional requirements to travel overseas to visit Group factories and/or OEM factories. This position requires a dedicated office space.

Key Tasks Include

  • To build solid relationships with current Key Accounts, that result in specifications and national opportunities for our entire product range.
  • To manage Key Accounts and daily activities in line with the Lochinvar Sales Strategy.
  • To seek out and develop new Key Account businesses and to develop new opportunities in order to increase our sales to this market.
  • To make effective sales presentations to a range of customer types.
  • To build an excellent level of knowledge on Lochinvar products and their application.
  • To understand and gain a high level of knowledge on Competitors and their products.
  • To have a good understanding of general Industry/market matters.
  • Continuously maintain the CRM database, including Accounts, Contacts and Opportunities.
  • To create new Quotes and Opportunities and to record and update effectively within CRM.
  • To be resourceful and innovative.
  • To ensure that customer relations are handled efficiently, utilising collaboration with ASM’s and Internal Sales to maximise customer satisfaction and repeat business.
  • Attending industry events and represent the Company, building relationships through entertainment.

Skill and Competence Requirements

  • A minimum of 2 years’ experience within Commercial HVAC or associated Industry of building relationships, creating solid specifications and successful supplier agreements.
  • Knowledge and understanding of the application of Boilers/Water Heaters and Heat Pump technologies in Commercial systems.
  • Proven sales skills.
  • A reasonable level of IT knowledge including standard Microsoft Office packages and ERP type software.
  • The ability to manage time effectively.
  • The ability to understand and develop a ‘solution selling’ approach.
  • Excellent people skills with drive and responsibility to work autonomously.
  • A good level of financial knowledge.
  • Good communication skills – both verbal and written.
  • Ability to work with other colleagues to achieve common goals.
  • Resident within a convenient location to effectively cover the requirements of the role.

This position is eligible for a company vehicle or vehicle allowance and mileage payments in line with our Vehicle Procurement Policy.
