Business Update – 15 July 2020
General business operation
The safety of our staff is an extremely high priority to us and we have carried out a risk assessment with our appointed Health and Safety advisor.
In line with UK Government and Public Health advice, many of our employees continue to work from a home base, but we have a skeleton staff operating from our Banbury-based facility.
We have taken additional steps to ensure that they can work as safely as possible. Additional supplies of sanitiser are available and we have a more stringent regime of cleaning; we also take temperature readings to highlight where employees may be showing one of the acknowledged symptoms.
We also continue to work with the 2-metre distancing recommendation.
Our field-based sales team continue to be available to provide assistance with pricing requests and other product information for potential heating and hot water projects.
In most cases we are working with customers by telephone, email or video call, but we are starting to make more site visits where requested. For further details, please find your local sales contact here.

• Water heaters, Boilers and Ancillary items – mostly available from stock and delivered within 2 working days – we can often provide delivery with 24 hours for urgent requests
• Spare parts – usually next day delivery when ordered by 3.00.p.m.
Commissioning and service site visits
With the re-opening of many businesses, the service side of our business has seen increased activity. Our Service technicians can provide a range of services including site visits for commissioning, new installations or re-commissioning water heaters and boilers in buildings that may have been closed for several weeks.

Business Update – 5 June 2020
Our Sales team continue to provide customer support via telephone, email and Zoom meetings and, where customers prefer, we have recently attended a number of site meetings. In addition to the guidelines provided by UK Government, we also have liaison with relevant customers, regarding site-specific precautions. Contact our Sales team.
Our Customer service and Internal sales continue to be operational and are adapting to the current environment whilst working in our usual efficient manner. We are maintaining good levels of stock and providing quick response as follows:

Our employees continue to be available to assist customers with a wide range of pre and after sales matters. Many are home-based but can provide full support via telephone, email or Zoom.

Our online CPD seminars have been very popular during the lockdown period, and our next one; “Heat pumps for commercial heating and hot water applications” is scheduled for Wednesday 27 May 2020 starting at 12.30.p.m.

Are you working in or with an establishment which has been closed during the lockdown period? As part of the planning for re-opening, one important consideration will be to ensure that hot water systems can be reliably and safely restored. We have already received multiple enquiries of this nature and our Service technicians have carried out a number of “re-commissioning visits”

Business Update – 1 April 2020
Lochinvar Ltd employees are continuing to support our Contractor and Merchant customers, who in turn, provide products and services for a wide range of businesses and organisations. These include hospitals, care homes, supermarkets, food factories, emergency services and many more.
Our delivery times are mostly unaffected, and as a reminder are as follows:-
- Water Heaters, Boilers and Ancillary items – within 2 working days
- Spare parts – next working day when ordered by 3.00.p.m.
Almost all employees are working from home, which has enabled those still office-based to work with additional free space, and we have increased our cleaning regime throughout our facility.
Area sales managers continue to work from their home offices, and are handling a range of inquiries by telephone, e-mail or via Zoom/Skype video calls. We also have our own Service technicians who continue to help with site-related matters.

Business Update – 24 March 2020
Our water heaters, boilers and heat pumps are installed in many buildings that support society in general. These include hospitals, care homes, supermarkets, food factories, emergency services and more. We know that many of our customers provide various services for these companies and organisations.
So we are doing our utmost to provide our customers with best possible service and product availability. In terms of our products and spare parts, it is ‘business as usual’ so the delivery times mentioned below in our Update on 17 March are still applicable.
All support teams, including Customer service, Internal sales, Technical support and our Warehouse team continue to be operational, although wherever possible employees are working from home.

At Lochinvar Ltd, we are taking a number of precautionary measures, including a more stringent cleaning regime at our premises and where possible, staff working from home.
