# Less is better than none

Reducing demand for gas in heating and hot water systems will provide much better long-term benefits than trying to get rid of it altogether, says Steve Addis, our product manager. Integrated systems combining renewable technologies with high efficiency gas-fired boilers and water heaters can reduce carbon emissions and provide attractive payback on investment.
